They called that interference on SC? Is that what started all of this?
Yeah, batters interference.

Brown hits a Kansas player. Henderson walking out. Would like to get a little more out of him I think.

Was it as bad a call as it looked on that replay? Didn't seem like he moved until after the throw was made.

Thought it was a shite call too, looks like they overruled and now there's no batter's interference.

12 minute delay, Campbell's now playing under protest.

Brown gets the K and Kansas strands 2. 7-0 UK. T5

I've got no idea, hopefully they'll say something.

Right call or wrong I don't see how you change the call.
I hope the regs didn't look at a replay, on their I phone lol.

Umps are making sure common sense doesn't get in the way of a bad call.
Over analyzing the rules and they look like fools.

Likely, nothing.
quote:
d. No replay of any part of a game will be allowed, even if the protest is proven to be legitimate, if the play in question did not directly affect the outcome of the game.
e. If the protest is proven to be legitimate and could have had a bearing upon the game, then it is upheld and play resumes from the point of the protest
Nothing happened in result so nothing will come of it. Even if SC scored there, given the regional format, I don't see how they replay things from the first inning.

Guess no protest now, who the frick knows. Not like it matters since Greiner didn't come through again.

Bramblett is dealing today

Umps got the call right so the protest doesn't matter.
They didn't call interference on Pankake because he was in the batter's box and didn't exaggerate his follow through swing.
Since he did hit the catcher on the follow through though, time is called and the play is dead, unless the initial throw from the catcher gets the runner out, which it didn't.
Funky rule but the umps got it right, and I don't mind the delay since they're just making sure they've got the call right. I ump little league games though, so I'm a little bias

Immediately over-ruling the protest is even weaker.
Screw job.

Shelby with an error (throwing from 2nd, missed 1st). No outs. Runner on 2nd.

Awesome back to back plays.

So if your runner stealing a base is toast on a hit and run, just have your batter touch the catcher, then have your guy jog back to first. He'll be safe everytime because the throw itself won't get him.
Most absurd fricking thing I've ever seen.
Common sense people.

2 down. Runner still at 2nd. Brown close to around his max pitches in a game this year.
