Should at least bring in Ensminger to teach the tyke how to run the ball.

But he'll probably have a better QB at Bama.

They had Hartman coming in at ND. I'm sure Bama has some talented guys waiting in the wing, jury's out on who gets the job next year. But Hartman is at the very least more proven and experienced than anything they currently have.

He *knows* how. See ND-Clemson 2022. But he hates doing it, and will look for any opportunity to pass.

Luckily Rees coaches offense

I’m aware. Your offense was solid. Scored 30+ iirc.

Your defense was dogshit.

Which one is Saban’s “specialty” again? TIA

Notre Dame averaged 41 rushing attempts and 26 passing attempts per game.

ND rushing and pass attempts rank, by year:
2010: 105th, 25th (Rees starts 4 games)
2011: 92nd, 34th (Rees as Sophomore starter)
2012: 35th, 91st (Rees loses starting job; 12-1)
2013: 107th, 64th (Rees Senior Year)
2014: 82nd, 44th
2015: 79th, 90th
2016: 93rd, 62nd
2017: 26th, 94th
2018: 31st, 62nd
2019: 72nd, 63rd
2020: 28th, 78th
2021: 86th, 33rd
Kelly Avg: 69.67, 61.67

2022: 21st, 117th

This year did see more rushing and less passing than any time in the Kelly era. But that only started after the embarrassing loss to Marshall, and I believe Freeman was the reason for that. Rees' playing years were the least prolific run games of Kelly's ND tenure.
