Actually, a lot of fouls called on him are ticky tack fouls. I think I heard Andy Kennedy say the other night that someone should protest with the league offices and refs about the fouls called on Silva.

You could call a foul on him every time he touches the ball or tries to prevent an opposing player from gaining post position.

I’m pretty sure the league offices got word because Silva did not have a foul called against him in the first half last night at Tennessee for the first time in his career.

Kennedy made a good point. He said the NBA scouts were making a note of it to league officials that Silva was not being given an opportunity to play, limited minutes because of ticky tack fouls, and that it could cost Silva millions and it could cost the SEC some serious prospects/recruits if their officials got that sort of reputation.
