I don't hate State either. I have family that went to both.

Exactly.

So the moral of the story is if yall had just sucked it up and came to Ole Miss we would have been competing for championships, and Auburn and Arkansas would be the bitch of the SEC west

He has an uncanny resemblance to the Arkansas mascot in that first picture.

I agree, but, as it was stated, Ole MIss would be entirely different from what it is today. Ya'll would be ringing Cow Bells!!! hahaha Come on, you know you would!

I seriously, seriously doubt it. First of all a cow would never be allowed anywhere near the field, and secondly I have a strong suspicion that the reason y'all may have hated us is because we called you cow frickers like we do today

You sure were on point with Pogue being named NWR head coach.

Sarcasm? Personally I see no harm in an experiment on non-televised game, like homecoming or playing a D2 school.

All games are televised these days.

Remeber what happened the last time you played in a D2 game...

He was the first to contact Wethersby about interest in the job...Why he wasn't hired is still up for debate. So rest easily, your pipeline of academic inferiors from USP is safe

I was at that Cotton Bowl and stayed for the trophy presentation.

Loved seeing the players go around the stadium hugging and high fiving fans afterwards. My friends from TX Tech and TX A&M were really impressed with that.

Was also at Jerryworld for the innagural CB there.
Post game wasn't as much fun but enjoyed the game from 17 rows up in that palace.

Didn't Hotty Toddy but I got in on every SEC chant.

Too busy to go through the whole thread. I lkie the bear and enjoyed the pictures i the Clarion Ledger of him with the kids at Children's Hospital: LINK

these were my favorites:

How can you not like this guy?

Maybe because right after the pictures were taken the bear attacked and mauled the already sick kids and they had to shoot him with a tranquilizer dart. shite! You think they would have learned after the first one or two kids...

Ya'll uniforms were better with the Colonel instead of the script Ole Miss on the helmets.

The bear will grow on people.

When today's little people in Mississippi grow up the bear will be all they know.

ok.....but their Mommy's and Daddy's got offended by them.

Let me rephrase it then for you......mascots are for kids and, just like most of the things in the world, not meant to be offensive to people of any age.
