I am telling it like it is...Ole Miss in five years will not be called "Rebels" nor likely even "Ole Miss" because of political correctness and spineless people in charge of your school.
I have nothing against anyone. People should be proud of their heritage. But they should extend the same privilege to all.

Sorry if the truth hurts.I don't think any of you are stupid but I do think this was a mistake made by spineless administrators.
And yes it DOES affect us all. Giving in on one thing encourages the Thought Police to go after something else.
What happened in the past was wrong. I am old enough to have seen segregated restrooms schools and restaurants. We corrected those wrongs and have tried to move forward,but some just can't let it all go.
An example. Minorities in the past absolutely were discriminated against in hiring. It was dead wrong and has been dealt with. But IMO quotas are just as wrong. Hiring should be by merit and not by skin color. This is just as wrong as what happened in the past. Those that can't let the past go are penalizing people that had nothing to do with what happened then.
