ok. You don't have to see it that way. It really doesn't matter if you do or don't.............note the outcome in spite of it.

Why cant Ole Miss at least have a freaking live bear. that would be ok. This damn thing looks like a Teddy bear on acid. I think I saw it on a bad trip in 79.

This whole thing just pisses me off. Frank Hurdle, you were right old buddy. First the got rid of teh flags, then the kegs, then Col reb then Dixie, finally turning us into a freaking stuffed bear on acid. We should have believed you man! But hell, lets face it, you drunk every time I saw you, so i thought you were full of it.

Moto: Drink more listen more or drink less listen more hell Moto is the bear sucks

Yeah because Mike looks that much better than something horrifying you'd see on an acid trip:

Its a cartoon character and it brought joy to children today. Who really cares.

I think getting rid of the Colonel was a mistake made to appease the true race baiters in our society. You will NEVER be able to appease them until you all are picking cotton and they are riding horses and cracking whips.Even though slavery has been gone for a century and a half and Jim Crow died back in the 60's

And no,I am not talking about black people in general nor most so called progressive white people.

There are those such as Jesse Jackson and his ilk that make a living off of inflaming racial issues and those that live on their every word and put it out there as the gospel.

Giving in to pressure like this only causes more pressure.

You should have kept the Colonel and flipped the politically correct crowd the bird.

We will just have to agree to disagree, because the crowd I speak of will never back down until your school has been razed to the ground and the soil sown with salt until nothing grows there again.

You should not have backed down.

Well at least the sensible fans in our fan base can be somewhat happy that Rebel appeared yesterday. He actually looks a little better than I thought. He looks intimidating but not enough to scare the kids so its a good balance. Now if we can keep the frat stars from trying to kick his arse for the next 12 months I think we will be ok.

I will go further. Because of the weakness you have shown, within 3 to 5 years or maybe less, you will BE the Bears and not the Rebels.

The mascot looks more like big bad wolf than a bear, to me...
