He either wins at least 8 games this season, or he's a gone pecan.

That stat is misleading because out of those 5 loses to top 5 teams, I'm willing to bet that 4 were against Florida.

Stats are stats.

This isn't stopping others from bringing up misleading stats.

Don't know....could care less. Just like everyone else pulling misleading stats.

Btw. Florida being a top 5 team didn't stop Nutt from beating them........in Florida. So I fail to see your point.

One of the picks was a tipped pass b/c the receiver is a moron.

Wrong. One was overthrown. The other was thrown into double coverage. But he has not been playing badly though.

Kidding about Nutt beating a top 5 Florida team? No.

I simply said Spurrier is 0-5 against top 5 teams at USC. Your excuse for him was "but it was Florida!!"

I'm just pointing out that a top 5 Florida isn't invincible. And we didn't need 5 tries.(Or however many).

Ole Miss vs Florida is one of the biggest anomalies in the history of college football.

He's not playing lights out by any stretch of the imagination. But he's not playing poorly. One of the picks was a tipped pass b/c the receiver is a moron.

All I typed is that he's not playing well, and you damn Rebs get all defensive.

He's got those average stats against the sisters of the poor.

It's a Mississippi inferiority complex thing.

Spurrier is 0-5 against Top 5 opponents as a USCe HC.

IIRC, Nutt has a winning record(just slightly) against Spurrier.

hold on there pankReb! OM has played 2 games against inferior competition and you are playing at USC ... the rating for those two looser teams that OM has played averages out to 64.35.
While USC has played 3 Div. 1A or BCS schools with a combined average of 85.97. Yea USC lost at Gawga by 4 pts. But put some proof in your pudding and then I will be a believer. Otherwise, all of these OM posters points, are just conjecture. I say, USC covers those 4 pts. tonight and will give OM more of a game than you all are making it seem like an easy romp for your Webels?

Did you not see my other posts admitting that this stat was as worthless as most of the other stats brought up are?

I am. I've already stated what kind of potential the two teams have in this game.

USCe has the potential to squeak by in a late upset(~7-10 point win)

While Ole Miss has the potential to beat them handily(21-28).

So that is where I find my middle ground for my game prediction. I think Ole Miss wins by 10-15 points.
