The smack talk is much more fun, because realistically:

The only thing that has hurt Bama for 3 years is a mobile QB. It won't take long for the D to realize that Etling (sp?) can't beat them deep and can't beat them running. Then , just like against Tennessee, their gonna bring heat and sit on the 10 yd patterns.

LSU's emotion will make this a fun game, but Bama still wins by at least 2 TDs

When I look at this game, realistically, I see 2 teams that remind me of an NFL matchup. Teams in the NFL that go 10-6, 9-7, can and do win SuperBowls. The parity in college is not what it is in the NFL, but between LSU and BAMA it is. Both teams have excellent players, lots of depth, and now LSU could, and should at least have a better balance. Long story short, either team can win, and it will come down to a 2 mins offense in the fourth quarter to win they game like Yeldon did against 3rd and Chavis a few years back with TM7 was suspended and not around to make a tackle. Gonna be a physical, close contest. 19-17 Pick 'em.

Here's a realistic thought about LSU vs the red team:

The red team has ugly-colored jerseys.

I'm not sure this is true

My two keys to the game:

1) Etling on 10+ yard throws: while Etling has been accurate, there have been quite a few close calls due to lack of velocity. Bamas quicker dbs may be able to step in front of some of these

2) OJ Howard . Every year against bama a tight end finds a coverage bust for a big play. Every year. Duke Riley and Jamal Adams must play smart football and not allow TE's to slip into space uncovered.

Also, Duke will be key versus Hurts' scrambling

It will be a good game but I think bama takes it. Legit football fans respect lsu's talent but bama has great talent and Saban coaching. Tough combo to beat.
