Most Alabama fans I know are very cautiously optimistic. Our defense is great and Hurts has looked pretty good. The o-line play and lack of a consistent running game are the most concerning items through two weeks. I'm not very confident about this weekend. I don't know anyone who has made hotel reservations in Tampa yet. The media pumps Alabama up more than the fans.

Also, my hot non-related wife with all of her teeth says frick you

Yea if we had a Heisman RB or a great running game I would agree but I dont see that the games will be on his shoulder probably more than any other QB we have had under Saban...we dont have a Ingram/Lacy/Richardson/Henry.

Alabama should absolutely smoke our secondary. If they don't, then that's really bad.

If the opposing team can't score, then they can't win.

Only if Hurts has time to throw. Your d-line has performed better than our o-line so far.

I don't have those expectations for any Alabama team. I just want a team that plays hard every play and is well coached. And we for sure have that.

I agree but down deep we really feel like we can go and somewhat expect us to go to the Natty every year, down deep thats how majority Bama fans feel.

Bro, Hurts looks a lot better right now than Cooker did this time last year. Look at the stats. This defense is salty as frick too. That's all I'm gonna say. Regardless isn't it nice to know that in a rebuilding year we are gonna be in the race? Check out everybody else's down years. Got it made.

If bama wins with these two kids at qb, it will be an incredible feat. There is a huge difference between a grown man, 5th year senior, and a Rd or true freshman.

I think the guy is right to question the possibility. Coker wasn't all world, but me, you, saban, and everyone with a brain would take Coker over this kid this year if we could.

Once teams like Ole Miss/Arky/Tenn/LSU wear our first 3 Dlineman down they will be able to run and move the ball which will then make us bring a safety in the box then the pass will open up...if we dont get depth we are screwed specially in hot game like it will be saturday and a fast O.

We shall see. I anticipate a lot of turnovers Saturday. Bama wins if they lead the margin.

Agreed...but Bama will win if that Dline stays somewhat fresh.

Bama Dline doesnt have depth:

Allen/Payne/Thomlason...Ball(he couldnt start for UK) Hand (really starting to believe hes not good at all, look how slow he is off the ball)...who else do we have?
Frazier and Davis and thats it.

We do t have to win the NC every year to enjoy great football. I'm excited about the fact that Hirts will be our QB for probably the next 3 or 4 years. It will be fun to watch him progress under this staff.
