They finished 2nd in the west last year.
Coincidentally, LSU hasn’t finished above 3rd since A&M joined the conference . . .

-They’ve won a conference title as recently as 1998.
-They renovated a stadium and magically won 2 more titles from damn near a century ago.
-They last won a major bowl at the end of the ‘87 season.
-They last appeared in a major bowl in January of 1999
You gotta respect that. These achievements take hard work and dedication. The only other SEC teams with a longer major bowl appaearance drought are Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri, and South Carolina. That’s elite. Jackie Sherrill has some badasses in the ‘80’s...don’t you forget.
