Georgia Southern was a 10 win team last year and won a bowl game.
They beat #25 App State by 20.
Not like they were scrubs, like bottom dwellers Georgia State and Texas State.

So yes, while tiger fans do this every year, this year we actually saw visible evidence that supported what the coaches and players were saying about this 2019 offense.

Last year....Clemson scored 38 on Ga Southern...
They were supposed to be more experienced and better this year.....so LSU blowing them out has a little significance than you allude to.....

The SECR can't have it both ways and we've been accused of both this morning.
Just like beating a top 10 Miami last season was shrugged off by the SECR, but so is the absolute dominance we showed last night (far and above what we were supposed to do to).

Bama did blow out Duke, Auburn played a better team and defense than LSU will face until later in the season, Georgia beat a good defense against an SEC team. I getvyall are excited because you lined up in the spread but it was against a terrible Georgia Southern team. That win is not close to the others just because y’all used to struggle against the likes of Troy.
