Weird that each phase includes still beating Georgia

Deboer-era Georgia's biggest claim is back to back SEC championships.

Deboer-era Bama's biggest claim to fame is beating Georgia, which is actually flattering as hell if you're a Georgia fan!

The Tide is turning

You keep finding new ways to shrug off Smart having a losing record to DeBoer two years into his career as an SEC coach.

He would be behind Hampton and get way less carries. Between Vidal (backup) and Hampton alone they barely have over 1k yards this season

What was the big difference for Alabama between game 1 and game 2?

Well, the injuries and Alabama playing 4 top25 defenses that gave Kirby someone to copy, which is what he does best.

That's just god damn dopey. The first game was played in September. Georgia's secondary and pass rush has gotten so much better since then that it's hard to explain. Georgia defense had only given up 2 touchdowns in the 3 games before the SECCG.

Alabama's defense also has gotten better since the frist game. That's how football works sometimes.

Georgia had 4 starters out with injury. How many did Bama have?

The excuse-making Bama fans on this board are fricking embarrassing!

The Chargers didn't draft a running back in the first round to ride the bench. But that's Bama logic.

To be fair, Fournette missed all of the year too.

Once again, as far as the game itself and the scoreboard goes, the injuries mean nothing. Congrats on your win.

But let me guess, you're going to pretend you aren't 1-1 against Alabama this year and 1-2 in the past 2 years and even worse beyond then. And somehow the result of this game is some huge meaningful thing, blah blah blah. In which case, nope.

Yes, the SEC Championship Game is more meaningul than games played in September.
