Own a home in Fayetteville. That is where my family is. I am a geographic bachelor in Augusta. Pretty common for more senior servicemembers. Try to cut down on family moves as the children get older. My sons are in college and high school so this worked out best for them.

I think the discussion comes down to in state/ out of state Alumni.
In state Alumni (and Tennessee alumni) UT is a bigger rival.
Out of state- LSU is a bigger rival.
I'm from out of state and I see LSU as a bigger rival. These things change over time.

I hate Florida much more than Alabama.
