Some recruits bite the NIL hook. Sometimes they even sign with who offers the most. Sometimes they commit to the high bidder, and then change their minds if a spot at a better place remains.

Kaidon Salter Was booted off the team Dismissed quickly before he could become a cancer
From your own link.
Salter was dismissed from the Tennessee football program just months after arriving early in Knoxville, following his second run-in with the police. An incident on campus in March ended up costing him his entire spring practice, and then Salter was caught with marijuana just a couple of weeks after being reinstated.

Other schools are having the same issues. The difference is that they aren’t considered the best team in the nation - with all the attention and jealousy that generates. Other programs don’t have the AJC rmaking front page news of every players jay walking ticket. UGA has players with fast cars that some drive fast. And they get tickets.
Kirby is addressing this issue but no one can babysit over 100 players 24/7. The players are being punished and those who don’t learn their lesson will be dealt with accordingly.
What are other schools doing? Besides covering up their own issues. No one believes this doesn’t happen at AU, GT, UT, LSU, etc. Maybe instead of stalking UGA players non stop the AJC could do an investigation of other programs. Their speeders and their bad boys. It could be quite revealing.
GT would be a good place to start. No one really cares about GT so they don’t sell newspapers. But a good investigation into the goings on at Tech and what they might uncover will definitely move their product. The rumors have been around for a long time. Isn’t it time to see if they are true

UT knows all about things blowing up in their faces. If I were one of them - Gawd forbid- I’d think long and hard before I criticized any other team. Their history isn’t pretty

Once again,Smokey is pulling garbage out his arse.
Georgia has 47 blue chips and a grand total of 2 from metro Atlanta are committed to UT another is from Toombs. Others committed are 3 stars which I doubt we offered.
A very unimpressive haul coming from a boarder state with ALL that NIL money
2025 state of Georgia rankings

If UGA signed a 3 Star it would be because Kirby saw great potential. Someone like Ladd McConkey and Jordan Davis. Both were 3s

And standards should be met.
No coach would include speeding as the standard line you can’t cross because that would be idiotic.

minimum of 3 games or be dismissed
They get fined, get corporal punishment, and sit in defensive driving class, plus 2 got dismissed. The others didn’t do anything worthy of dismissal.

He wasn’t kicked off for being involved in assault and robbery? Damn, And here we got a vol saying we should kick off a guy for a speeding ticket.

Street racing DUI reckless driving already claimed two lives at UGA. Why are you pretending this is just speeding?

corporal punishment you mean a spanking

Because that is what most of them are, which is why you refused to list all 24 offenses one by one.
Street racing, wreckless driving, and speeding are all very similar offenses, and none are where any coach would set the line that cannot be crossed. This goes for your coach too.

Define “work”. Nothing is guaranteed to work for every member of a group the size of a d1 fb team. To claim other wise is just a nonsensical idea of yours.
With that said, it can work for individuals, but how would you know it worked? I guess if they haven’t gotten a ticket or arrested. This means it worked for most of the team, right?

You were talking about “street racing DUI”. Thats 2 offenses combined. Thats what he was talking about too.
Let’s see all of those names.

They have no names. They have no argument other than being sore losers.
I was angry at Bama too years ago, they seemed to cheat in recruiting and sweep stuff under the rug, but most of all it sucked that they beat us consistently. I think that’s Tennessee’s main gripe here

And multiple players have had DUIs and multiple players have engaged in street racing. And multiple players have reckless driving with accidents.
That’s why it’s odd that y’all keep calling it speeding tickets.

So let’s see the list of the offenses.
Street racing is essentially a speeding ticket.

I mean... you don't find it even a little bit concerning how many UGA players are getting arrested?
Obviously the optics aren’t great, especially with the increased focus on the program after Willock’s death, but, as it’s been shown in this thread, lots of young college athletes do stupid shite, that’s hardly just a UGA thing, and none of that changes the fact that SmokeyOne is weirdly obsessed with UGA. Both things can be true at the same time.
