Maybe, maybe not. But it wont be vastly improved like yall think.

It doesn't need to be vastly improved. At least not with the defense LSU will field this year.
But of course an Arky fan wouldn't know a damn thing about putting a dominant defense on the field.

Lee and Jefferson were both seniors that had been starting for three straight years.
But they were awful. My point is that if Mett is as good as LSU fans think he is, than he would have been better than those clowns. Last year would have been a perfect time to get him some seasoning. Amazing D that is going to win all the games anyways.

Lee wasn't awful. He threw a couple picks against Bama and never saw the field again. He was actually lookin good

how 'bout you worry about how your shitty coach that belongs in Conference USA is going to get 8 wins this season and let us worry about our QB and booking hotel rooms in Atlanta.

Merely because a QB (or any player, for that matter) is the most talented does not necessarily mean he is ready to play. There are more aspects to football than talent alone and more positions and phases to the game than QB and offense. The concept is not difficult to grasp (for most).
And your team still got railed. Congrats.

Neither of them were "awful" in their senior campaigns. I'd actually venture to say Lee played pretty well at times and never really put his team in bad situations. They weren't just going to throw Mett to the wolves when they had two QBs that had done their jobs well all season.
The only issue is the fact that Lee never saw the field. That was a travesty. Mett not seeing the field was probably smart.

So now he has grasped all these concepts and is ready to go, right?
