sucks they put LR on there. I wish LSU could come to fayetteville and get to experience what a game up here is like. I don't think in all reality its any quieter or less festive however the after game celebrations i know are better simply because we have the second best bar district in SEC country

oxford sucks. lets see where do I want to hangout on a Sat night? Br with 30 or so bars that dont close at some stupid time, buy crown at Circle K instead of finding some specfic joint.
br has way better food, the chicks are not stuck up, the gameday atmosphere is much better and better than that walk of mediocrity pathetic excuse you all have for a Grove. Yeah I take BR any day. BLEE DAT!

ITS THE MOST OVERRATED place to tailgate in america rocks. what genius came out with the idea to cram thousands of fans the size of my grandfathers pasture to tailgate at. LSU tailgate parties go for miles. nobody tops the tailgating around tiger stadium.

The bars in Oxford are definitely better than BR. The girls are great too. Overall, it's just not that great of a place when you're including the stadium and football in your criteria.

your argument for saying BR is better than Oxford is like saying Jackson is better than Oxford because Jackson is bigger, stays open late, and has trashier girls

FTMFW. i had some fellow LSU fans tell me i "had to see the grove with my own eyes" so they took me to it. don't worry, they wanted to show me how ridiculous, pretentious, and flat out shitty it was.

Im not going to argue with you Skeek. Some people like hooters better than Ruth Chris. Some poeple are just different. OM and LSU fans are perfect examples. If you can find anyone with credibility that isnt an LSU fans that thinks Baton Rouge is a better college town than Oxford, be my guess. BR is the 5th most dangerous city in the US, second in worst teeth, and 3rd in STDs. Oxford has been named by many publications as a top 10 college town. Everyones opinion is different, but everyone that isnt biased would pick southern charm and class over the a-hole of dixie

and it takes you a whole 8 minutes to walk through it. its terrible. I have seen better tailgating at a Cleveland Browns game. BR, for the most part, is a shithole. It's not nicer than Oxford, that is not debatable.
But once again, we're comparing a town to a city. It would make more sense to compare Oxford to Starkville, Fayetteville, TTown, Auburn, etc.
LSU should be compared to Columbia, Knox, Nashville, etc.
It seems that some LSU fans prefer things that are un-Oxfordian, so to each his own.
