Methodology:
*Using FINAL AP Top 25 rankings for each season a coach was at his CURRENT school; Use CURRENT AP TOP 25 for the 2019 season since it is not yet complete
*25 points for a 1st place finish; 24 points for a 2nd place finish etc.
*Divide total points by the number of years coaching at the school to get an Avg. AP Poll Points per Season
*Only coaches who have been at their school for 3 seasons are more are eligible
AP POLL POINTS PER SEASON:
1. Nick Saban, Alabama- 21.15
2. Lincoln Riley, Oklahoma- 20.67
3. Ed Orgeron, LSU- 17.33
4. Kirby Smart, Georgia- 15.75
5. Dabo Swinney, Clemson- 15.27
6. James Franklin, Penn St.- 11.17
7. Jim Harbaugh, Michigan- 10.80
8. David Shaw, Stanford- 10.67
9. Paul Chryst, Wisconsin- 10.20
10. Clay Helton, USC- 9.25
11. Brian Kelly, Notre Dame- 8.90
12. Gus Malzahn, Auburn- 8.71
13. Gary Patterson, TCU- 8.10
14. Mark Dantonio, Michigan St.- 8.00
15. Chris Petersen, Washington- 7.50
16. Mike Gundy, Oklahoma St.- 5.67
17. Tom Herman, Texas- 5.67
18. Kirk Ferentz, Iowa- 5.00
19. Kyle Wittingham, Utah- 4.47
20. Mike Leach, Washington St.- 2.00
Had to have at least one Top 10 finish to be considered. I may have missed someone but I think I got most anyone who's finished in the Top 10.

Who'd you miss? The only other SEC coach who's finished in the top 10 is Mullen and he's not eligible for your list yet

Interesting that #10 will likely be fired this year.
#7 and #12 could be let go if they were to finish the season poorly, or at the very least would enter next season on the hot seat.

You forgot Jimbo Fisher.

Neither Fisher nor Mullen meet the minimum requirement. I think having only one complete season is not quite enough time to be properly evaluated.... honestly even 2 full seasons is probably not enough time.

If you took Fisher's time in Tallahassee, he would come in at #6 on this list between Dabo and James Franklin, with 13 points/year.
