Question for Texas fans about their offensive line

The first two offensive tackles that this 2027 draft preview mentioned are both Texas players.
How is it possible that Arch Manning got knocked on his arse as much as he did this season and the Texas offensive line generally sucked? Either the offensive line coach would have to be wholly incompetent or the interior three offensive linemen would all have to be special needs,, or both.
