What are the must see / must do / must eat places in Knoxville on a 2-3 day trip on a gameday weekend?

Best thing to do is stay away. Hideous color everywhere

The must do is to floor the car and hope traffic is light so you can get out of there as fast as possible

There are distilleries with tours every other block in Townsend, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville. It’s geared more towards “shine” but there are plenty of solid bourbon/whiskey/vodka options.
As far as food, not much in the way of BBQ that I’ve found. Most of the places end up just not lasting as BBQ just isn’t big here.
Avoid East Knoxville and unless you are stupid you will be left alone.
We have tons of hiking, history, biking, golf, stuff. If you are into bikes or cars there is the world famous tail of the dragon. Decent casinos and history in Cherokee. 20 something golf courses are in the area with unique choices. I always recommend a trip to Cades Coves since the federal government eminent domained it away from my family and hate to think it’s wasted. If you like Harleys then a trip the shed and downtown maryville for that scene. The Jeep scene and 4x4 trail stuff is prevalent. This weekend was a rat run in pigeon Forge (classic and custom car show that’s miles long)
