What stopped Arkansas from winning one in the '50s?

Sell outs even though they were terrible. Actually proven in court that Kroenke colluded to move them and the city got a billion dollars in compensation.
We have the biggest free zoo in the country(3rd largest overall), 2nd largest botanical garden, 2 theme parks, the Blues sell out every game lately, we have a race track that hosts nascar, we relatively regularly host major golf tournaments, we have the 2nd largest city park in the country, we have multiple casinos, lately it's become a foodie destination and our bbq has always been world famous and that's all i could think of without stopping typing. Damned if I know. I didn’t really think about baseball when I was up there in the 70s. Norm debryne was practicing in a cow pasture from what I remember. Frank Broyles started investing in all sports and baseball slowly started rising. We now have the facilities and fan support to compete so we’ll see how we progress. We’re doing pretty good for the period of time that’s baseball has been invested in.
