Auburn has changed theirs. It was either credit or debit depending on how you set it up. You could use it at several places off campus including a few bars, including the one I managed. Never forget one of the girls came in one time with a 10k balance before the 15th of the month. She was pissed because her parents only gave her 10k every 15 days. I am guessing she spent a ton at the clothing stores as well.

While generous, I must pass. Thank you though. I will settle for an answer about the reciept. Does it have name or just number listed?

On campus store or any store because it had a credit function?

300 required minimum for on campus stuff only

1000 required minimum for students who live in dorms, on campus stuff only

your parents can also add extra money to it that can be used off campus.

There were certain places that allowed tigercard, it has changed because another business sued because it gained an unfair advantage or something like that. There were several lawsuits. One was a late night food delivery and people wouldn't pay because they didn't realize they didn't take the card.

If you live on campus I think $900 is the minimum. It was required starting with the freshman '08 class and I am 07, so I have never had to use it

I think UA started mandating a certain amount for Dining Dollars (I think that is what they call it) on the cards a few years back. I bet UA and AU started around the same time.

I bet. Lots of undergrads with momma and daddys money to burn. Do you know if AU still allows any off-campus stuff?

No, been out of the loop for awhile now. Those were my last years living in auburn. Had to make some money on the books.

Np. Check out this article I posted on the o-t. Good stuff on the osama mission. Good stuff. You seem like the type that might like it.

I picked up the latest copy of Popular Mechnics. It is about the OBL mission and the gear used. I haven't had a chance to peruse it...but I have a feeling it will be faptastic.

Ours like said before is split up into two: flex and express.
Flex is items that aren't taxed or the tax is built in.
Express is items that are charged tax.
You can use express like flex but you can't use flex like express.
Mississippi just changed some tax code recently that screwed some of it up. Like before I could pay to eat at the golf course with flex. But now it's express because of the change.

ETA: our receipts just say like "ole miss express reb13"

So, it is basically a university affilated credit card that you have to put a minimum amount on each semester? You can still use it off-campus, correct?

Does the university consider these transactions as part of the student record?
