Reauxl, I want to give you props on maintaining the best thread I have seen on the SECr in months discussing LSU / Bama. This thread has been fun to read without all of the flaming and arguing.

Hey! Me and you almost got in a fight during the heisman show. I'm glad you didn't respond to me I'm hoping this one will get bumped whenever people want to talk about how they really feel about the game. Idk how many cicil threads I'll be able to start

Max I didn't mean to ignore you. But I promised myself I wouldn't let you piss me off anymore. You're really good at it.

I left the Heisman thread. This place is unbearable right now. You have done a great job in keeping this thread civil. Again, props to you. LSU and Bama fans discussed the game in this thread like adults. You shook off all of the flamers. I hope this thread lasts until Jan9th.

No I just don't remember it as well. Whatcha think the score will be in NOLA?

I think it's a close game again. I think the final score will depend on how Saban calls his offense though. If they are open and aggressive, I think it's a 24-17 type game with winner a tossup. If Bama comes out overly convservative (Saban's usual calling card in big games/bowl games), I'd say 24-10 LSU.

Bama had all the advantages at home and still couldn't win it and I think their lack of depth at the WR position will hold them back. Hanks and Maze are very good, but after that their WR corp is pretty weak.

In the end, I think it's a toss up, but will be interesting to see how the neutral site affects the game and the fewer practices for Bama affect them.

Me too. We'll see though. It'll probably get buried in all the crap.

The Maze pass was a great play call. That play was the closest Bama ever got to the end zone. They took a shot and it would have worked just as the Bama coaches drew it up, but the knuckleheaded receiver running the drag route ran behind the ref. He showed very poor judgement and brought Reid into the play. Had he not done that it's six points easily. Great call by the coaches; crappy execution by the players.

Great playcall, but poorly executed. Pressure on Maze was what killed it honestly especially with his hurt ankle. That's actually why Williams' was so open though. He completely ignored his responsibility to chip Mingo and while it helped him get more open with screwed up Maze's ability to make the throw.

I'm thinking the same score as you. Which should provide casual fans some more entertainment. This is way to long to wait for a damn game. I'v picked up learning guitar to help out. This wait isn't good for my health damnit.

I hear ya, but it helps to be a little more efficient at work for the next month.

Either way, I think it will be a great game, and while I am against the rematch, Bama is a great team and it will be a hell of an event to watch.

I'd be in such a bad mood coming up with ways why I think OSU would win Thank goodness I don't have to do that.
