To answer the op though.. if he can stay healthy, he'll do really well I think. His problem has always been trying to be too physical after the catch, refusing to go down on the first hit or go out of bounds when he might ought to. On the flip side, he's played through a broken hand, broken foot, a sports hernia.. dude is tough as nails, and refuses to be stopped. If coaches can get him to be a little smarter in protecting himself, I think he could have a good career.

There are no guarantees in the NFL draft. Players that work are the ones who seems to fair the best, thats why JJ will have a good NFL career, cause the dude works hard. Will be a good combo to see him and bradford work together.

That's a given.

That is the point. Doing this in the NFL will lead to a really short career, with really sweet highlights.

Which can be a red flag to GM's, sometimes. You want a player who will notify you of any injury. . .so you can treat it. Better to miss one game with an injury. . .than 6 because you tried to play through it.

I don't know if he is the type to not report an injury, but he seems like the super-tough kind of guy that might.

I think he'll get it drummed into him that he doesn't have to do as much after the catch, like dragging the opposing team an extra couple of yards and he'll be taught to take better care of his body. I think he'll have a good solid career.

And to add.. I hope he does anyhow. In the end though, I'm appreciative of the career that he's had at Bama and for me, that's the bottom line. Hope Bama folks are successful in the league, but college is all I keep up with, except for FFL purposes, I wouldn't give a rip about the NFL.

I will say, I thought he would do alot more at Bama.

He was really good, but not really great.

I blame the lack of a marqueee QB, though.

He set the Alabama record for receiving yards in a season. I'm happy with his career, despite a slump last year when he had the sports hernia.

He was injured a lot, but the thing is.... half the time he didn't even tell anyone right away. Very tough kid.
