I heard Arkansas has a great collection of track and cross country trophies in the school "trophy case" it might.be worth spending a few minutes visisting the finest sports accomplishments.
Yes, we have more Men's national titles than LSU.
Are you really wanting to compare Oil Refineries to the Boston Mountains?

Fayetteville has lots of great night club and bars, and unlike BR LA you will not be shot, stabbed, chocked, beaten or raped. Enjoy your trip, doe's has the best steak in town, I recommend the porter house and a cold stout from the ozark brewing company.

I will be staying in Fort Smith with some friends for the game this weekend. Any attractions or a night scene that I should be aware of? This will be my first trip to there
To respond to you in one post. If you can somehow go to the bars on Dickson with a DD or something then do that...If you have to go back to Ft Smith your best and only bet (sadly) is to go downtown.
Some of my favorite bars in downtown Ft Smith are: Webby D's, Papa's, Old Town and Mojo's. Those usually close early and despite my better judgement usually go to the Cowboy after

You'll have a new watering hole in The Sqaure.

Don't feel to bad, it happens. It has happened to me in Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Little Rock, Texarkana, Springfield MO, and Tyler Tx.
They are all the same, even the after 2:30 am leavins to pick from seem the same.

Fayatteville seems like a cool town...would like to visit one day. What fans from opposing teams do yall get the most visits from there? It's like a 9 hour drive from my hometown

P.s. While you're in the Fort drive by Southside High school and knock down the Rebel Dixie Stick "art work" That thing is God awful! I'll personally reward you.
No way they would have ever erected shite like that while I attended Northside.
The Yellow Umbrella and Ed Walkers is a must.
A damn I miss the World Burger..

All the close games are in Little Rock which both MSU and LSU always sell out.
Ole Miss brings a big crew but they are so bad lately it's not like it was when Nutt first got the job. Surprising Auburn usually brings 7,000 or more, weird but true.
We had over 10,000 Ark fans in Bama but you wouldn't know it.. ha for obvious reasons.
When I was in school Tennessee would bring a ton of fans! Memphis is closer to Fayetteville than Knoxville so it makes sense.
You should come to Fayetteville sometime you'd enjoy it. I made the trip to Tuscaloosa and I had a good time.

Isn't the Southside-Northside game called the battle of Rogers Ave?
Is it like Chicago? Ar ya'll Northsiders? or am I reaching? I'm sure there is some name calling....

The main problem with Fort Smith is that anybody 21-40 with any ambition or intelligence tends to move north to Fayetteville and NWA.
