No, I have not read USA today or any other day in a very long time. Did they explain why all of your great RB that would start pretty much anywhere else did such an outstanding job in NOLA with the big prize was waiting for them to just get off the bus and take it?

Says the tigger who went on and on for months about how Alabama did not belong in the championship game and how it was a home game for LSU & LSU does not/will not lose in THEIR stadium. How Alabama LB's were too fat and slow to handle LSU's option and speed on the edge. Not much of that worked out for you. Kaiser, have a little faith. aTm will compete just fine. I am not saying they will set the SEC world on fire but they will compete and have fun doing it.

Every club has fans that range the whole gamut, no? I've listened to Sumlin I think three times on ESPN and computer vids. I've been very impressed. He truly gets what it will take to succeed in SEC. Mentions rivalry with LSU (not just on-field but, as important, in recruiting). The emphasis on a strong D. The resources available at A&M. I think 2014 will show how well he may do at A&M.

the good news for A&m is saban and miles are a bit nicer than stoops so they wont be down 77-0 in the 3rd.

Sumlin may totally fail or become the reincarnation of Bear Bryant. Nobody knows for sure. The one thung that is for sure is that every great coach started somewhere.

Yep. Coach Saban had a tad less than a 60% win rate at MSU, went to LSU then, low and behold. Same with CLM..56% at OSU then almost 80% at LSU
