You act like none of the other QBs get to play against pansy teams.
At least Tebow doesnt have to face the Florida defesne.
Mallett is the best passer, with likely the least talent around him

if hes so great he really should be completing 50% of his passes, no matter the defense or wrs.

To me Mallett has the most potential of all the QBs.
Remember he is just a Sophomore and this is his first year to be the starter.
Also I remember some posters claiming he wouldn't be able to handle the speed of SEC defenses in his first year. Seems he has done pretty good.

that really makes up for completing 35.3% of his passes. Every qb has players drop passes. And some of those passes are dropped because they are thrown poorly and could be thrown better.
Its not a valid excuse. I feel some sympathy for him for the drops, but still lets give them a few more catchs and it is still a shitty job.

I know he could be the best next year, and he has potential, but im talking about right now, who has better qbs. Florida or arkansas.
Its ok to admit that you have the second best qb in the sec and a former heisman trophy winner is better.

I suppose by best you mean NFL potential, no contest it's Mallet. If it’s the best college QB right now, it's the Sr. Tim Tebow, not the sophomore Ryan Mallett. Tyler Wilson will be a damn good QB in a year or two. What else do you need to know dick?

Put Mallet under center for FL and Tebow under center for AR......you think they will have comparable numbers like they do now? Didn't think so. Mallet is a better qb than Tebow. Easy answer to a dumb question

SEC rant - where its dumb to think that a former heisman winner and 2 time national champ is a better qb than a guy who cant complete 50% of his passes against the best 3 defenses he faces.

Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Brett Farve, John Elway, Peyton Manning (I can keep going if you don't get it)....none of them are former heisman winners and 2 time national champs, so Tebow is a better qb than they are? No, he has been fortunate enough to play on some of the most talented college teams his 4 years in college.
Its really pretty simple

Thats only half of my argument.
Also we are talking about college, not pro

ok agree to disagree then
Tebow=better college football player
Mallet=better qb
imo
Tebow=better college football player
Mallet=better qb
imo

tebow only plays one position so im not sure how he can be the better college football player but not the better qb

If you want the guy who will make a better pro prospect, in conventional thinking, you MAY want to look at Mallet. He, Mallet, has disappeared in big games though in terms of % and not being able to make the big play. If I was needing a QB and had these two to pick from I would take Tebow, just because he can do more, if and when the play breaks down. He has also proved he can take the big shot and keep playing.

and as ive stated several times, this thread is not about that.
its about which team has the better qbs right now. RIGHT NOW. arkansas or florida.

please define "better"....as long as it is not a "team" statistic, i will debate you (AKA Win/loss record is a TEAM stat, not an individual stat)
