Is mallett the best qb in the sec again after shredding the defense of an 0-7 team? and wilson is the 3rd best qb right?

Who here really thinks arkys qbs are better than floridas?

Mallet just has such great completion %s against sec teams. You guys are falling in love with his deep ball which is all he seems to have.

Mallett may not have the best completion % in the SEC, but he has the most yards, TDs, and least amount of interceptions thrown in the SEC. So...ya...stats wise he is the best

I think most would pick Tebow for their QB than Mallett.

After Tebow though, who else would you choose for your team?
Jefferson?
Cox?
McElroy?

I think he is, although he has a great deal to learn. He looks too much for the deep ball which has caused some problems. He didn't do well against Bama and had his receivers drop 10 balls against Ole Miss, which made his stats look worse than otherwise would have been. Otherwise, he has done just fine.

And yes, he has much more upside potential than St Tebow

and dont talk to us about padding stats. Tebow has done that for 4 years.

7 of Tebows 18 TDs came from 2 teams, Troy and Charelston Southern.

Mallet = the best pro QB prospect in the SEC. Is there really any debate to this anymore?

Better in what regard? Put Mallet in a pro-style NFl offense and he performs better than Tebow would, yes. Put Mallet in Urban's current offense and he performs worse than Tebow.

Who is the better college qb this season?

Mallet has struggled terribly against defenses with a pulse.

He will complete about 40% of his passes. About 3 of em will be 50+ yarders so he will end up with like 200+ yards and somehow he is great based on yardage alone.

Close to call, but I'd give the slight edge to Mallet: 2149 yards of offense and 18 td's to Tebow's 1874 yards and 18 td's.

Like Bama and UF? Two top 5 defenses in the country?
