Dude tennessee is my second favorite team. I just don't get the dobbs love. He hasn't beaten anyone good

Richt has two SEC titles. The same number of moral victories Butch has over UGA.

That's not a nice way to talk about a fellow Vol. Sorry that I'm not sucking off Butch Jones and his lackluster performance thus far at UT.

Is that why you absolutely can't wait for Tennessee to go 7-5?

I'm not a die hard. I don't wear orange and white glasses like I do orange and blue. I just don't think butch is a good game day coach. Hell of a recruiter and hell of a salesman just not a great gameday coach, hell saban is the same and has gotten by, so butch may do it too. But yes, I do see 5 losses for the. Vols this year. Georgia, alabama, one of Florida/USC, Oklahoma and arkansas. That's not even like its tough to see.
Y'all could easily be 9-3 or 10-2 with a big win over arkansas and continue to have spurriers number while breaking the streak vs florida and beating a pretty decent oklahoma team, I just don't think this is the year for Tennessee. I see three guaranteed losses. Bama, uga, and arkansas. I see one I just don't think y'all are ready for yet, oklahoma, and two toss ups in USC and Florida. And IMO one of the streaks end or both continue. Whether it's y'all beating Florida, but spurrier getting revenge or the streaks continuing.

Yet, I'm sure you think JJ is going to be all world at QB for Auburn this season. You are just a little bitch.
Posted on 7/18/15 at 12:39 pm to Legendary0903
Show me where I think JJ is going to be all world? Do I think he's a top 3 QB in the SEC? Yes. Do I think he's better than dobbs, without a doubt. Do I think he has the ability to put up insane numbers because of his offense, yes. But I also think he has some accuracy problems and needs to work on that.
There's a difference when someone asks for an all sec team and I post all auburn players being a jackass and actually talking football. Dumb frick

I don't disagree with 5 losses being a possibility. I think UT gets 8 wins, but that's me. I guess we disagree in hoping a "favorite" team fails. No big deal though.
Posted on 7/18/15 at 12:48 pm to Robert Goulet
I use favorite loosely I guess. I cheer for Tennessee anytime but vs auburn. Most of my dad's side of the family is from tennessee so anytime I'm around them I talk UT football. Tennessee is one of my favorite states to visit, we both hate alabama and georgia so that helps. I don't have any tennessee gear and I'm not a VFL, Auburn will always be my school, but I would say tennessee is my second favorite team. And I'm not hoping for 5 losses. That's just what I see.

If UGA had a guy with Dobbs 2014-like season on the roster, they would've been the preseason SEC championship pick.

who are your "3 QBs" and what is their exact experience?
most teams, like Mizzou, have set QB's and no real competition.
I can tell you about Mauk if you want to hear it..
in a nutshell, what Mauk needs to get his game to the next level:
His strengths:
* highly competitive, winning program kid
* much experience "slingin it" and has the HS stats to prove it
* all around good athlete and team leader
what he needs for the final level:
*better vision
(both literally seeing the mid-field AND reading defenses)
at 6 foot he's not "tall" for a college QB but he sees downfield well enough to hit his target, he's just not seeing the whole field, yet, and not recognizing defenses well enough to predict where the short openings will be with any regularity.
*better play decisions
(play within his game and not force the impossible)
he often leaves the pocket early and tries to do too much with his feet, but appears to be improving on this.
hasn't mastered the art of the throw-away(out of bounds) play
improve his game speed, not the fastest "thinker", so needs to improve snap decision making
essentially he needs to radically improve on his short to mid range pass completion percentage and continue throwing deep pretty well.
Not sure how much of that is possible but I am sure he can get better at any or all of those to some degree, his dad was his HS coach where he set the state record for HS passing in Ohio, now that his dad is undergoing advanced cancer treatment, I think we may well see more out of him than any of us, including Mizzou fans, had expected. He COULD BE the phenom we were all hoping/afraid for..

Dobbs 110%. Lambert looked like crap at Virginia and I've seen several of UGA fans rag on Ramsey. I don't see either being as efficient as Mason, but they will put up more yardage.
Dobbs has actually played really well despite a crappy OL and no decent running threat until he made one. He gave UT a run game in addition to the pass game. If 2 of Croom, North, and Malone improve to give him a consistent weapon outside of Howard, he'll blow up. Ethan Wolf looks like he could be a top 3 SEC TE as well.

The difference is that if JJ is good, but not great, Auburn will probably go 9-3. If Dobbs is good but
not great Tennessee will probably go 7-5.
I hate Auburn, but they have a better coach and better talent surrounding the QB.
