Question which program has the better 5 year outlook between Auburn and Arkansas?

CC Tiger answer: "Bo Jackson runs really fast."

but you totally ignore the facts that Auburn out recruits Arkansas almost every single year

And you totally ignore the fact that despite Auburn out-recruiting Houston Nutt (big accomplishment there)that we have an even record head to head.

Pot, meet kettle.

If I remember correctly, wildrebeltime claims Arkansas has even less potential than schools like Ole Miss and Purdue. I would put Arkansas' potential about even with Ole Miss and ahead of Purdue

You using WRT as a point source should get you the ban. If not a ban, then guffaws.

Do you actaully read this read this thread before you make posts? Some Ole Miss fan mentioned the post wildrebeltime has made about Arkansas. I stated that I thought Arkansas has more potential than wildrebeltime does

yeah, I've read it. So far I've learned that the word outlook translates to years past and that you pay way too much attention to WRT.

Arkansas will probably be better than Auburn this years, but why do you think things will change long term? Chizik will probably elevate Auburn's recruiting over where it was when Tuberville was the coach. On paper, Chizik probably also hired a better group of assistant coaches than Tubervile did.

Hard to argue with that logic . . .

Until now, I've always kinda liked Auburn and thought most Bama fans were complete dicks. Lately, I've been coming across more and more Bama fans with respect for Arkansas, and Auburn fans pissing on us. I always thought Auburn fans were a cut above Tide fans. Like I said, I don't expect any self-respecting Auburn fan to pick Arkansas here, but damn you'd think they would recognize the monkey we just shook off our back was able to keep up with them.

hard to say right now because both programs are in flux.

We don't know if Mallett will be a success in Petrino's offense and we don't know if Malzahn's offense will be effective at AU. If Malzahn's offense turns out to be effective, things could be dangerous.

I have tried to be civil in this thread, but if you expect me to admit Arkansas has more potential than Auburn, you are out of luck. I doubt bammers would admit that Arkansas has more potential than their school either

Second, according to Forbes, Arkansas is the 14th most valuable football program in the nation while Auburn isn't even top 25.
In 2007, Forbes rated Auburn as the 7th or 8th most valuebale college football program in the entire country. Arkansas was 14th or 15th on that list.

Do you have a link to a more updated ranking?

You claim Auburn will always play second fiddle to bammer

You will always play second fiddle to Alabama, you just won’t admit it. I think that’s what chaps you arse so much. Your “fantastic” location hasn't seemed to help you in the last 10 games against the Hogs has it? I believe it's 5-5. However, the question was who has more potential?

Recruiting is always subjective and I don’t give a rat’s arse what your recruiting class was ranked last year or this year. All I know is that Pertino has brought in the most overall talented class at Arkansas and that must be a sobering thought to Tiger Fans, being that we’ve always been out recruited by Auburn but the series is tied at 5 and 5 over the last 10 games. How the hell did that happen?

What matters is what happens on the field. Go ahead and claim "recruiting victories" while we will be satisfied with thumping the Tigers on a regular basis. Also, I wouldn’t build Auburn up too much because some of the big Arkansas donors might just go buy Auburn and annex it to the University of Arkansas system and rename it UAA, the University of Arkansas at Auburn and put the Tigers in the Southland Conference.

If you dont like claiming recruiting championship, what about SEC championships won on the field? Arkansas has zero since they joined the SEC. Auburn has at least one over that same period of time.

I dont see Arkansas winning an SEC championship in football anytime soon either, but at least you can brag about being 5-5 against Auburn over the last 10 years. LMAO!

Auburn might be second fiddle to bammer, but they will always be better than Arkansas. That really does have to chap your arse

CC, who is bragging about 5-5? You guys have laid out an argument that Aubbie is superior in every way shape and form to Arkansas. The counter to that is, with all our backwoods shortcomings, you are IN LINE with Arkansas head to head.

We'll settle this on 10/10 professor. You and I can go straight up on a monetary wager if you like. Surely you are up to that...

You have a losing record against Auburn all time. I have admitted that Arkansas will probably beat Auburn this year, but you will still have a losing record against Auburn all time and less SEC championships since you joined the conference back in 1992. That has to sting
