You can reopen your recruitment if you've already signed?

Sorry, all of our kids are signed and sealed.

What do you people not understand about that? None of them are getting a release for quite a while if they even want one after the coach is introduced.

The elite coaches who were interested already made a run at these players. Those same elite coaches are getting ready for the big dance, and I'm not worried about those left over.

Didn't Ky Madden come down to Arkansas and Ole Miss? I wouldn't be surprised if he reopens his recruitment.

If he wants to play for Ole Miss, best of luck to him.

Madden has had some maturity issues and I'm not too impressed with him. He has a lot of growing up to do. So does the kid from Missouri.

Am I the only one that thinks Madden is a headache waiting to happen?

YES, if the school releases you from your scholarship. Last year Tony Barbee released Auburn Signee Jalen Steele from his scholarship he reopened his recruitment and eventually signed with Mississippi State.

This type of thing is common and happens every year.

ETA: it usually based on a meeting/conversation between the signee and the new coach who has been hired. If the signee doesn't fit into what the coach wants to run/play then he will release the signee from his scholarship.

It is not 1994 any longer. In order to win, you are going to have an a-hole or two on your roster.

He has the personality of a Fortson though, IMO.

Chris Jones is much better than Madden imo. Jones only being ranked 39th overall and 10th PG is a joke. Teague, BJ Young, and Quinn Cook are the only PGs I'd take over him.

None of them have been released, and if they are it will not be for months.

If contact is made, that is an NCAA violation.

I figured that is what you meant.

It adds up to $1.8 million.

April 6th his buyout drops to just over $600k.

Right now, his buyout is just above $1mil. Obviously, 1.8.

I think if he gets that WKU job, we will drop down to the $600k number again.
