Right now I have a pretty big boner for Kansas State's coach Martin.

I'd take Turgeon, too.

Those are my top 2 right now.

I love Martin personally as a coach, but I'm not sure how much the primadonna hot shot recruits would take Martin's in your face style of coaching.

What is it that makes you two like him so much? Personally, I think he is slightly overrated and is still living off of Huggins ground work that he laid at K-State.

Isn't all the players on the team his recruits?

It's not like he has gotten worse every year.

DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, and more Discipline.

He don't put up with shite, and he runs a solid offense, and recruits pretty good to get kids to Manhattan, Kansas. Id take him as our head coach at Mississippi State in a heartbeat.

I agree, and he is a serious candidate for the Arkansas job.

YES

Huggins mainly laid the groundwork, and now Martin is defining the program there.

Hmmm, looking at their roster, I guess you are right. Pullen is the only Huggins recruit left it looks like. I thought McGruder and Judge were Huggins recruits but I guess they were Martins. Kelly was a transfer from UConn right after Huggins left.

I found out this little tidbit that suprised me when I visited their b-ball website just now.

Martin, Anderson and Turgeon

If these were really are three finalists like that guy is claiming on Hogville right now then I would be a very happy man with any of them.

Yes, I'll take Martin, Anderson or Turgeon. I think in that order.

I would too, that guy might be more credible than the guy yesterday who had Rick Majerus on the phone.

I get alerts on my phone whenever 'Cuban Men' is posted online. I was disappointed to find out it was just this thread.
