Long didn't make the last two basketball hires. I had higher hopes. He promised a national search. I happen to think he pandered to our screeching freaking fan base, instead of trying to get the best man for the job. Someone NOT connected to our past. Nutt was our last stellar homer hire. How'd that work out?

Yes, and he, along with a couple other tards do nothing but bash Mike Anderson and Nolan Richardson. I'm guessing they're members of the white sheet club.

All we need now are Sivad and Wild Bill.....and we can have a pointy head convention.

You'll be the first fan up praising and slobbering all over MA's knob when he gets Arkansas to the dance.

Hilarious. I care a great deal for MA, and Nolan is the bomb. Our fans are fricking nuts. No debating that. I don't want to see MA put through the hate and vitriol that was thrown at Nolan. You know the same people who are cheering now.

Actually, that would be Hatfield, if you're correlating at home everyone and he did pretty fricking fine. Nutt didn't win shite with JB.

City, this is a great hire. We got ourselves a proven winner, a guy with good moral character, he plays an exciting brand of bball, he knows what it means to be a razorback, and he has recruited this region for over two decades.

Who were you hoping for, honestly? Howland would have been awesome, but MA fits better. Other than that, there was no realistic candidate out there better than Mike.

Get excited, man. Now is not the time to be disappointed.

Hardly. The fluffer line is already a mile long at Hville. I hope he succeeds and takes us to multiple league and nat'l titles. I pray for his soul is he doesn't because our fan base has little tolerance for failure. Especially when it's someone they once worshipped. I swear to God our whole state has short term memory problems.

I am with you, this is a terrible hire. There are some that just don't understand the excitement New blood like hiring a Trent Johnson brings. Instead you hired someone that just gets bounced from the tourney with an inferior team. Why settle for good when you can have a proven winner right. You should have shot for Larry bird IMO

Uh, because he hasn't been here for but one, and yes he did hire Mike Anderson.

fricking please, Nutt went 5-6 at Boise St before he was hired at Arkansas, and he only attended Arkansas for one season.

Mike Anderson has 7 NCAA Tourney's in 9 seasons. 2 Sweet Sixteens and 1 Elite Eight, and a career 68% winning percentage. He also coached at Arkansas for 17 years and was part of Three Final Fours and a National Championship and is a protege of a Legendary coach.

So, yea.

No, and if you believe this you're an absolute fool.

Actually you are wrong. Nutt was hired after hatfield. And it was a MAJOR homer hire. Had the LR Mafia shoving him down the committees throat because he was an ARKANSAS boy. And you are right. Nutt didn't win shite.

So you got overly invested in one of the other candidates.

If you think any of the other realistic candidates were head and shoulders above Mike Anderson, you're a fool. There's not a single stat you can post to prove that point.

Mike will sell tickets and generate excitement more than any of the other candidates. Their qualifications were a push at best.

Just because you didn't get your way doesn't mean everybody but you is a dummy.

I didn't really give a shite either way, but I am definitely excited about Anderson and the future of the program. If it makes you feel better to pout about it, go ahead. But I think that makes you a bitch.
