No, it is people guessing and going out on limbs. Everyone wants to be the breaking story.
What people do not realize is that nobody remembers who actually broke the story on a hiring, but they do remember the person/station/outlet who broke the story and were wrong.
Long is not saying a peep. Anything people are saying they are hearing it from Sexton/Anderson Camp, or someone who may know a BOT member.

if there is nothing to the MA deal then we need to hire Marshall tomorrow. Word has it he told J Long that he would be here tomorrow if offered today. Anderson would be a quality hire but Missouri has a lot of resources and while Arkansas does to. I just think he is more committed to them than to leave for our job. Somehow though I think Nolan wants revenge for the way he was treated. So who knows? I do not think Porkatarian knows anything at all and is just feeding trolls something they want to hear.

porkatarian probably doesn't know anything, but neither do you. mike isn't committed to either school until the ink is dry and he's at a press conference announcing his commitment to university of xxxxx. your meltdown over the past few pages has been ridiculous. it's best to chill out, sit back, and wait for something concrete to happen.

what if this happens, we fired pel and can not get a quality enough coach to keep the recruits we have coming in. J Long could destroy the basketball program even further like he did the track program by going with one of his boys. Petrino fell in his lap and Van Horn was not his hire so the best coaches at the UoA right now are there because of us not because of Jeff Long.

I'm not going to read every damn page of this thread for the serious candidates. You're a "true" Hog fan, or that's what you claim to be, so why cannot you just tell me the candidates. You seem to be a basketball guru in regards to AR.
