lol, I can't believe you are trying to compare the basketball histories of Arkansas and Missouri. Missouri has never reached the final four. There is a history lesson for you. Arkansas has six final fours and a national championship. You lose at Jeopardy.

i guess you can be wrong if you want, i don't want to argue with you.

This disqualifies Mizzou from the conversation.

So guess all the number 1 rankings and Big 7 8 12 champs (reg season and tourney) mean nothing. Where did I say that MU had a better tourney record? Where did I say that Arkansas wasn't a good program? But go look at MU basketball history of players and records they arent some idiot school.

The thing is in football you can have this conference success with little national respect and become great but in basketball because of the tourney conference stuff really isn't all that important.

I guess I better label CCNY and Loyola as better basketball schools than MU
CCNY must have been GOAT to win NIT and NCAA in same year

So are you ignoring all of Arkansas' conference titles? I didn't say Mizzou was an idiot school. Arkansas' history>>>Mizzou's history. No contest.

You went to Missouri St correct? I have just always assumed that since your screename is sms.

Yes, that is my reason for the hatred of MU

I can agree with you on that one. My wife is from Springfield so I have spent plenty of time there over the years. I have definitely grown to dislike MU as well over the years because of some of the people I have interacted with there.

Ok we will start comparing from 1976? Is that a fair starting point?

We did play each other many times from 1976 til now, so you can just use head to head competition. If you want to ignore the 4-0 edge in Final Fours.

Yeah tell me how many national titles and final fours Missouri has since 1976. Our history is hanging from the rafters in one of the most beautiful arenas in all of college basketball, but go ahead and tell me about the al'mighty tigers. I'm all ears.

Yes, you and I have posted about it directly and that's why I tried to clue the others in. If my comments were not accurate or inappropriate, please accept me apology.

MU has no final fours, 3 elite 8's, 8 post season tournament titles, 28 players drafted in nba, 8 first team consensus all americans, 22 all conference players, 8 conference players of the year, 6 coach of the years. I cant find the winning percentage or the series record right now. But the argument that Arkansas and MU history is relevant.
ETA:
6 top 4 seeds in region of NCAA tourney.
Head to head series is 19-18 Arkansas, so Arkansas doesnt dominate MU there, its little closer than I thought actually.

Hard to tell because he doesn't say much, but says he can't say more because he is so close to Long, he would be discovered....
