What? First year as a head coach and he may need a couple of years to get a feel of the SEC teams and as a head coach. Barry Odom did not do well the first year and he almost lost the team last year but got his team back on track after firing DC and almost blew it and was able to make bowl game and now he shall win around 8 games this fall.

This team is loaded with talent. 4 of 5 OL return, Senior QB returns, both RB's return, bringing in talent at WR (Guidry, Whop), Mixon returns, Dear is back from injury.
Entire DL returns including Simmons and Sweat (Both were All SEC last year), Rivers will get to play this year, he is a stud. All LB's return, Both Safety's return [Our 2 leading tacklers from last year and interception leader last year (McLaurin)]. Add in talent at CB. Our FG kicker returns, but we have a new punter.
It will be tough for Moorhead to put together a better team than this. 9 wins is the floor.

I'm gonna say we lose @Bama, but win 2 of these 4(UF, Aub, aTm, LSU) win the rest. So 9-3 with a 10th in a bowl game the most likely.

Yes, because I was talking about the talent on the team. This team won 9 games last year and returns everyone and adds talent.

Meaningless. Auburn returned 106 total career starts on the OL in 2017 that was still the biggest weakness on the whole team

Banking on unproven newcomers is a recipe for disappointment. I know State is new to the whole preseason hype thing, but take it from those of us with experience in the area.
Y'alls defense should be pretty salty though, at least on the front 4, I'll give yall that. Of course the best player on that front 4 should be in prison, and y'all should be ashamed that he attends your school, but "just win, baby" I guess....
