Texas A&M get 9+ wins!

-Many of its tough, but winnable games are at home (Ole Miss, UT, and UCLA).

- Only year since we joined the conference that A&M won't have to rely on a "true" freshman in the starting rotation. This is HUGE, especially since A&M has had to start true freshman at QB at some time during its last 2 seasons.

- A&M should have at least 80 scholarship athletes on the roster. They had around 60 in 2012 and have been hovering around 70 every year since 2012.

- A&M will have more than 1 scholarship running back this year. Played almost the entire season with 1 scholarship back. I don't think any other SEC could have done that and gotten 8 wins. A&M had 5 scholarship running backs at the beginning of Spring training.

Here's the pessimistic counter to that post:

A&M has only won 1 game under Kevin Sumlin at home vs. a ranked opponent (Mississippi State 2015).

There were actually 74 in 2012 with 5 leaving/being dismissed during the season, 3 medically retiring, and 6 redshirting.

James White only missed 4 games.

Still has 5, but one will likely never play (Bradford)

If ole miss doesn't go undefeated, the season is a disappointment.

You can pencil in a L for the Bama game, then randomly choose an inferior SEC opponent that will beat LSU when they shouldn't, plus another L just because it's Les Miles.

Try for your first ever 10-2 season and division title before going there.

If the 2011 and 2012 Bama team's couldn't go undefeated, the 2016 team surely won't.

it's actually been fairly rare that both teams come in at a high level with very good teams.

TSIO is the same way. One team always seems to be down when we play. One of many reasons I hope we start strong this year (at least 5-1). A TSIO with two top 10 teams in Neyland would be HYPE.

Sadly, this will in all likelihood be the case

Atlanta gonna be crowded. There will be at least eight teams there. Hope they can handle it
