Winning 4 out of the next 10 games is very likely. It’s not like we have to win 7 of our next 10 games.

Very likely is optimistic.

Assuming home wins over Mizzou and LSU, that means winning 2 of

Vs Arkansas
Vs Florida
Vs Tennessee
@ Florida
@ Auburn
@ Texas A&M
@ Kentucky
@ Mississippi State

Sure, probability seems pretty good. However, individually, all of those games are losable. It's a hard, hard stretch.

9-9 and we're solidly, unequivacly in Phan. Sorry to burst your bubble.

No, you are not. Your RPI would be in the high 40's according to people who predict such things

It'd be #41, to be exact. 1 team with a RPI of 41 or better from a major conference has been left out in the last 15 years. Their SOS was in the triple digits. Our will be Top 10.

Sorry phan, time for a new ranting point

WarrenNolan disagrees. And even at 46 or 47, more get in than are left out.

Sorry to disappoint you with facts, Phan.

Have at least a little faith. This team has the talent to win 4 more games.

I didn't say we won't do it, just that it's going to be really hard.

I feel good about them, but it will require a consistency of effort that hasn't always been there.

unless we beat Auburn twice and beat Tennessee on the road, I think we fricked ourselves today against Texas Tech

If we go 20-11 regular season and win two games in the SEC tourney we're in.

We'll have the resume, the RPI and they're not going to frick us over having gone to the Final Four last year after having fricked us over two years ago.

We have to find seven more wins on the remaining regular season slate and that's doable ... but it's going to come down to the wire.

This is the first season in a while that I believe there are seven or eight teams that have a legitimate shot at winning the conference tournament. And I hope the Mizzou fans don’t think they will have home court advantage because there will be more Kentucky Blue in the arena even in St Louis.
