It sounded confident to me. It seems to be concensus that Carolina is an 8-4 team
With the over under for wins on the year set at 7.5 for South Carolina , it seems the board mostly agrees with it . Must be why netting is even on both sides .

8-4, good season for South Carolina. Good thing Citadel isn't on the schedule.

Here comes the delusional USCe fans, a long with the the UGA hating Auburn fans to tell us that UGA will lose. Newsflash: UGA will beat USCe by 14+ just as we have for the last 4 year.

Muschamp has been pretty good for SC. Mullen has yet to coach a game for UF.
So you think Muschamp is going to do better at SC then Mullen will at UF ? I don’t think it will even be close . Isn’t Muschamp 8-8 at SC in conference play ? Mullen was really good at State and was stolen away by UF . It’s not like he was at a good program and sucked so bad he got fired then went to another SEC school.

the year after that, we won. Where did we win that? The swamp.
That was a terrible game for their head coach.

7-5. Losses to UGA, A&M, UF, Clemson, and another to either UK, Missouri, or OM.

I didn't even think my prediction was controversial and the thread is about to hit 5 pages

Yours is about what I have mine at, except I have us getting the Kentucky monkey off our back. A&M is a tossup IMO

I’ll say 9-3, losses to uga, clemson, and one of A&M, Florida, OM
This was my thoughts exactly. If you get a break here or there, that 10-2 record is very possible and a NY6 Bowl game. I really hope this is what happens, but I would also hate to see Muschamp and USC get momentum going.

Yea yours was solid. I agree with CNB, 9-3 w/ losses to UGA Clem and A&M. I can also see us beating UGA but getting overconfident and slipping to Mizzou or ole miss.
I hate that I'm not 100 percent confident with Kentucky either but too proud to count it as a potential L.

In hindsight, if Foley could have weathered the intense fan and media criticism and stuck by Muschamp, the Gators would be in a much better place today.

It's part of a never ending narrative about how UGA struggles in Columbia. Since 2000, the Dawgs have lost four times there. Three of those were over a five year period to a guy named Spurrier. He is gone and so is the SC magic.
One of those was to Holtz as a prohibative 24 point favorite with UGA ranked #4 in the country and Quincy Carter at the helm.
We were just coming off a 21 game losing streak.
