Were you surprised LSU FANS were predicting this?? I'm not sure what else you expected. I'm saying based on the expectations of everyone outside of LSU, that LSU met the expectations against TCU. Maybe since LSU has destroyed teams in games like that in the past regardless of competition that people expected such a performance, but it certainly wasn't something many people were honestly considering as a possibility, especially considering the point of the spread. People were obviously putting their money that dictated LSU wins by 4 points, and they won by that amount and more. That should account for a large enough sample size to give you a majority view on the "expectation" for LSU against TCU.

TCU has a better head coach, QB, OLine, and secondary
LB's are a wash

I wasn't trying to prove you were "all" saying what ABDIW is thinking. It was the first prediction thread I saw on your team board, and I thought it fit my argument.
But if you can link me to any Bama fans who gave the slightest concern over Virgina Tech's "retarded good defense" before your game, I will gladly eat crow.

Personally I thought Alabama would kill Va Tech, and they did dominate them. It's week 1, so I don't really put much stock in any performance seeing as there are teams who always get better, and teams that always get worse. Bama is one of those teams that gets better, so I wouldn't worry. LSU hopefully will get better. We know the defense has a good chance of improving, the offense looked good, and in the past it hasn't improved much, but this year with a new OC, and that OC in only his first game provided a performance that had not been seen at LSU in awhile, LSU's offense hopefully will get better.
It's stupid to make judgments on one game. End of story.

We SHOULD have beaten VaTech by more then we did, but after scoring in the 3rd, we never called a play capable of big yardage for the rest of the game. If you actually watched the Bama game would see that for the last quarter and a half of football alabama never even tried to score again. He even took Cristion Jones out of the return plays so we wouldnt take anymore of them back to the house. Typical Saban playing a coach he respects with a lead.

Thanks for that. I will now hold on to the fact that bama left a lot of points out on the field during last year LSU game.
If we would have continued to gash your defense by running Eddie Lacy instead of passing it would not have been close. It should not have been close.
Because after all, I wouldn't want to give credit to LSUs defense and make it seem like I am covering my team's arse.

I'm a gator fan bro lol. I agree on defense but we have to show consistency on offense. I think it was smoother sat then any time last year, but It's still a work in progress.
