Idk if I’d call them my champ. But I do know one thing, this is the SEC rant, and in two days we have two SEC teams playing for the CFP title. Yet here we are and there are an awful lot of people here and even on reddit and around the college football landscape talking about this and feeling a certain way. So I do support them doing this. Change never came about by accepting the status quo, so props to UCF for going this route and getting this discussion in the ether.

They beat the only team that has a win over either NC team. You might not be able to declare them undisputed Champs, but you sure as hell can't say they're not, nor that they have no reason to claim it either.
And they should've had a playoff spot to begin with. Then the problem would've fixed itself and the rest of the country wouldn't be bitching about having an all SEC championship game.

LSU wins the fanbase with the most idiots. By and large in this thread LSU fans want an 8 team playoff more than any other group.
Do you LSU fans not realize an 8 team Playoff would make the SEC Championship game irrelevant? The loser would still get in and many late-season rivalry games would become irrelevant.
I used to live in the Louisiana shithole and listen to the idiotic LSU fans rave about Les Miles eccentricity as a virtue. When he couldn't beat Alabama he became a nut that had to be fired during the season. Then they hired another nut who will also bewt fired during the season when he loses another game to an FCS team or can't beat Alabama.
I really didn't realize how whacked out LSU fans are until today reading this thread about wanting an 8 team Playoff. I used to pull for LSU occasionally. I hope LSU loses every game they ever play and I'll laugh for two weeks straight when Orgeron gets fired for incompetence/losing/mumbling/looking, acting, and being stupid. I would bet a lot of money Orgeron has the lowest IQ among all major college football coaches. I don't know what to say about the LSU Fans other than they suffer from terminal PTLS: Post Traumatic Loss Syndrome.

Would love to see UCF play a power 5 schedule in ACC, SEC, Big 12, B1G Pac 12, etc. They'd have at least 3 losses. Wouldn't make a New Years bowl, etc.
