No Arkansas fan wanted him or even talked about him during the coaching search. It was looking like we were going to go after Jans. Then the whole cal thing came completely out of the blue, literally, and caught everyone by surprise.
Not many Arkansas fans I know of liked the dude but here he is like it or not. You are way off base here.

Wait, do you think any of us are upset about Cal leaving. We've all been pissed off his last 3 years. We were stuck with him because of his insane buyout.
I had little faith in Pope when he was hired. He has drastically overachieved with this team. Many of us weren't even expecting to make the tourney.
