LSU's issue had nothing to do with adjusting to your offense.
Their issue was they didn't have the players to defend yours.
Colby Richardson was a 0-star recruit who transferred to LSU from McNeese State. Starting CB.
Greg Brooks was a 3 star recruit who transferred from Arkansas. Starting S.
Joe Foucha was another 3-star Arkansas transfer. Starting S.
Mekhi Garner was a 0-star recruit at Louisiana who transferred in. The other starting CB.
Jay Ward was the nickle back. 3-star LSU recruit.
Jarrick Bernard-Converse is a 3-star recruit who transferred in from Oklahoma state. He's the first backup at both CB positions
The only 4-star recruit who is in their 2-deep is Ryan Sage who backs up all the Safety spots. He was a 4-star recruit who transferred from bama.
LSU wasn't defeated by scheme. They were defeated due to lack of TALENT in the secondary. UGA doesn't have the issue.
Now Bama's DC... he sucks. He might have been flumoxed by the scheme. But that's a problem with his coaching that many other programs don't have.

Should be a very memorable fun game. UGA has been there and done that regarding getting their heart torn to shreds in these moments.

Yeah, the only time UT could beat a Kirby Smart coached UGA team... and it required a hail mary at the end to make it happen.
It was also the last time UGA lost (and only time under Smart UGA lost) when they scored 30 or more points. The hail mary gave UT a 34-31 win.
Since then UGA has won 52 games straight when their offense scored 30 or more.

10-2 in the last 12 and neither of the 2 were in seasons where UGA was good enough for it to matter.
The last losses I remember being meaningful were maybe 2007.
2006 hurt at the time... but UGA kept losing after that so it didn't really matter.
The biggest this century was 2004. That one stung.
But the most recent one was 15 years ago. This is all pretty far in the past.
