@ lunch, so can't do it now, but 3 things: who is who's cross-over team;
what is the full schedule for all...as in will you be able to rotate the H/A every year; & who gets 4 H games & whi gets 5 H games each year (the whole pod or 2 from each)?

Can't split Tn. & Vandy.

At least be realistic. The SEC isn't going to poach any ACC teams. Maybe 2 teams will be added one day, but only once the Big 12 implodes some more. Let's say we add Oklahoma and Okl State; add them and Missouri to the West, and move Alabama and Auburn to the East. Alternate the SECC between Atlanta and a TBD major city within the West's footprint.
If you must have "pods", divide the above West and East divisions into 2 sub-divisions each. Go to a 10 game conference schedule. Play each team in your division (7 games); play each team in the 2 opposite sub-divisions that placed the same as you the year before (NFL style); and play one team in the opposing division on a non-fixed rotation so that once you play someone based on where you placed they go to the bottom of your rotation list (this guarantees you play everyone from the opposite division at least once every 6 years, but realistically much more often since teams won't place the same every single year. Here, pick 2 major cities from each divisional footprint to alternate the division and conference championships.
Get he PAC 12, B1G, and ACC to do the same and you have a de facto 16 team playoff based on standings, rather than polls or committees. Use the AP or Coach's poll for seeding between the 4 conference winners. Tell the G5 conferences to kick rocks, or form their own division and playoff system. Tell Notre Dame to hold a reverse-auction wherein they have to buyout one of the current 64 P5 teams (preferably Rutgers).

Last cross-over: Vandy & new team?

Why does there have to be more teams? There are already too many.

10 game schedule won't work because you're only giving Georgia/Florida/SC/Kentucky 1 game to work with (ACC in-state rivals) & the other 12 2 games.
Also, parity scheduling does NOT mean you'll face everybody in 6 years. You're more apt to repeat teams before playing everybody once.

Your alternative is more conferences.
Take your pick.
Take your pick.

We already have a defacto playoff. Other than G5 fans, I don't understand why everyone is so determined to ruin the only sport that's entertaining from start to finish.

3 permanent + 5 rotating
-Play every team in the conference home and away over a four year period
-Keeps traditional rivalries
-Easy to understand and balance
Two best records go to the title game. Tiebreaker 1: Head to Head, Tiebreaker 2: Opponents' combined conference record, Tiebreaker 3: Playoff ranking

Explain 5 conferences with 4 slots & NO GUARANTEE that a conference won't take multiple slots.

The conferences aren't equal. The PAC 12 didn't deserve a playoff team last year. The B1G didn't have a team that deserved a shot at a national title last year.
Give me a system where good teams get left out over a system like college basketball's or the NBA's where every team with a pulse gets a shot at the title.

Feel free to edit OP with my fixed solution, it’s much better imo.

Quick fix to scheduling problem would be, kick Arkie's and Mizoo's arse out of the SEC. Problem solved.

Not a bad idea actually.

Better idea would be to also kick out Texas A&M and South Carolina, go back to 10 teams and play a true round robin. In basketball, you could play 18 and play everyone twice like the old days. In baseball ... ah, who gives a shite?
Too many teams in this conference and they're all leftovers from inferior leagues. Trim the fat, go back to 10.

Let’s just go back to ten teams and play everybody.
