Yes he did. I was referring to excelling more at a college level though. Wish we could’ve had Gurley come back for his senior year after that acl though!

Somebody commented that acl wasn’t a career ending injury these days. So I’d say that was refuting it. Try not to be so sensitive

but that guy didn’t downvote me.

Tearing both ACL’s 8 months apart before you ever play a down of college fb is different than simply “tearing an acl”.

Sucks for the kid, but there are tons of people who don’t have any athletic ability and go on to have a productive a full life. It’s not like he is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life or blind.

Upvote for you, but that’s totally out of context for this thread, and forum as a whole.
When you are trying to make another NC run, and you just lost your two leading rb’s to graduation, and your ace up the sleeve just tore his shite all up, that’s pretty catastrophic, in the context of this thread, and this forum as a whole.

I think this is overstated. I tore the same ACL twice in a span of six months, and I was back at full speed about 12 months later with no ill effects. Now I wasn't an elite athlete playing a college sport, but it's common now for players to make a full recovery. As long as the damage isn't more extensive to cartilage, a full recovery is very likely.
