Since there is a lot of debate about the intentions of Gates hit on Fitz, decide for yourselves.

It did not show up for me. Nasty, nasty stuff. Hope the kid is up and playing again next year.

Seems out of sequence or something. Leg is stretched out and foot appears to be flat on ground mid stride and the State player down low hasn’t made contact yet. Looks like the lost footing set the angle up for the injury. Just no way for anything to give.

Just a fluke injury.

This is what the targeting rule has caused

Go low

It’s a bang bang play. Guy on the field doesn’t have the benefit of slow motion.

bullshite. You tell me where it's taught to lead with your elbow at an ankle or shin.
I don't like either team but that was a shite play

The picture here shows his left leg getting hit, but it was his right that was broke.

Agree with you. Fits lost his footing badly and the player hit him low. Really no way for anything to give. Definitely bang bang. The defender likely started the tackle before Fittz lost his footing. Foot slipped, leg extended, player landed on it, etc.. Just bad luck.

Kicked out of the game if I touch my helmet above his neck or what resulted

I know my move as a defensive player

Looks like it broke before the guy contacted him.

Wonder if moo st will hold this false butthurt for a decade plus like LSU fans do about Dorsey.

It wasn't a dirty hit. Fitz is a good powerful runner, so you go low. It happened so fast I don't even know how the OM player would've had time to think to make a dirty hit.

They celebrated the kid who jumped and stomped on a player on the ground.

Your right. Thought something was off in the photo. Was a fluke.

Wow just realized that. Ole miss player didn’t even cause the injury.
