Well, I suppose if he is as good as advertised, and Patrick Peterson is as good as advertised, we should have some fun watching these to go at it, for the next 3 years.
No doubt
AUCatfish,
Transferring to Div II? Seriously? Screech won't though right? He's better right?

Why would you think that. He carries about a 3.4 GPA.
Not for academic reasons, but for overall ability on the field. Look, the kid has awesome potential, I just have a feeling he won't make it in the SEC. By the way, I thought Lectron was going to be great, so I have been wrong before...

i guess for now you pass as a bama fan and not just a gump.
I still want to know how high luckyles thinks the vertical in that picture is.
To me it looks like about 36 inches.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Has their ever been a AA receiver at Bama? I can't think of any.
Ray Perkins-1966, Dennis Homan-1967, Ozzie Newsome-1977, David Palmer-1993
And possibly the greatest receiver to ever play the game, Don Hutson
I don't know if that is the complete list...

First of all, I have no clue who Screech is other than a character on "Saved by the Bell". Second of all, calm down, you don't have to get your crimson and white panties in a bunch every time someone doesn't agree with you. This is the rant, not Tidefans.com.

i saw that he has a 44 inch.
in that picture im guessing 36 if you look at where his foot is.

It's possibly the ugliest sweater I have ever seen.

Ok. Screech is this guy

Now had you said that Julio may not be AA caliber, won't break every record at UA etc, that would have been logical and debatable. The fact that you said he would probably transfer due to athletic ability, imo, was a stupid post, hence the response. Sorry.

I don't think he was AA. He was, however, CRUSHED by Auburn LB Kurt Crane in his last play of his senior year, breaking his arm....
(Additonal Bama AA wide receivers were Hoyt "Hu" Winslett-1926, Holt Rast-1921, & Wayne Wheeler-1973)

It was a joke,Sparky.
I believe its 'Wu' Winslett and Rast was All-American in '41.
Wayne Wheeler was unbeliveable. I was at the '73 Tennessee game when Rutledge faked a handoff and hit him wide open for an 80 yarder on the first play of the game.

Oh I know....I was trying to deadpan!
And yeah, its "Wu"...and 1941...mistypes there...trying to get out of work!

I think the kid is a phenom, but that doesn't mean it translates into being a stud in the SEC. He has yet to catch a pass in a game, or faced any SEC DB's so I am not ready to tout him as the second coming of Ozzie Newsome.
Hell, look at Tim Hawthorne, he was highly recruited by everybody and he has had little impact at Auburn (4 catches I think). I just have a feeling about Julio, just one man's opinion.
