Only TWICE since saban landed at bama did the tide have a TOUGHER SEC schedule than LSU. In '07 bama finished #5 in the west and in '10 bama finished #4 in the west.

In '10 only one of those losses did bama's opponent possibly have an advantage because of a bye.

The lowest LSU has finished with a harder conference record than bama was #3 in the west.

Heck, I might even root for them against the Ducks. Well maybe not, but it wouldn't hurt my feeling to see UT beat the Ducks anyways.

It's sad, but honestly wins in all of our crappy OOC games, wins over VU, UK, and Mizzou, and just one win over a competitive SEC team (UF, USCe, UA, or UGA) to take us to a 6-6 season would be a sucess in most rational Vol fans eyes, including mine. This is coming from a fanbase that has seen 5 SEC victories in the past 3 years, and they were UK (2), VU (2), and OM. We just need a sign that we've stopped the downward spiral which has seem to eaten us up since 07.

Undortunately, rational vol fans are hard to find.
