Petrino to resign on Monday?

A bunch of people on Hogville (not just one or two) are hearing from their "sources" that Petrino plans on resigning on Monday.

That's in vents & rumors on H'ville. That means there is no supporting evidence for the thread.

Interesting reading to say the least. If true, big if..
CBP regaining any dignity for future endeavors, imho, is aided by his falling on a sword here where he has created so much damage, whether his choosing or Ark Braintrust's. Frankly, he, his family damage, and his head and soul, need time for healing..
I see it as a win-win for both parties involved(re: LSU's Johnson to TCU..both he and Alleva get a do-over to a degree)

I could see him resigning.... it would probably be the best choice for him. It may not be for fear of getting fired and trying to retain some dignity but perhaps because the best thing he could do is take a break from coaching and spend time with his family and try to fix things with the people he hurt.
