Pinkel's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit to operate a vehicle. You know why those limits are in place, right? Because it has been medically and scientifically proven that it will impair a driver's motor functions and reaction time.
If I was the parent of a kid that happened to be on the same road at the same time as your coach, and you attempted to defend his actions by stating "he wasn't slobbering drunk!", I would literally punch you in the face.
To critique Petrino's actions and not acknowledge that your own coach's actions were exponentially more fricked up is beyond comprehension to me. Petrino's mistake is between his family and the university. Pinkel's also affects innocent lives. That is crossing the line.

Also, so according to your logic, as long as someone who drinks and drives doesn't kill any kids then it is acceptable? That is some wonderful logic! You should be a lawyer.
In addition, how can you speculate that Bobby could have killed someone? There is no proof that he was driving recklessly, nor was he under the influence of anything other than a hot 20-something blonde. You are trying to divert from the fact that what your coach did was incredibly fricked up.
