Its more like 20-1.

Yes, South AR and North LA are joined at the hip...but I grew up in PB and my family is from Crossett, and I will be there Friday night, on my way up to LR Sat. for the game; and yes ,you do see some LSU signs ON CARS WITH LA LICENSE PLATES, but natives in South AR are huge Hog fans, and spending the first 30 years of my life in South AR, I can say no one feels "disconnected" from THE FLAGSHIP UNIVERSITY FOR THE STATE OF AR?!!!

BTW, when I moved to New Orleans in 2000, my first experience with LSU fans, was they just hoped to have a winning season...remember the seasons between '89-2001...It was called the Hallman/Dinardo years, go check how competetive you were in the SEC then, and get back to me..

Lastly, which former Razorback Coaches left for "greener" pastures??...Broyles?, he became AD, Holtz? fired for going 6-5, and wound up at Minnesota. Hatfield? Left in the middle of the night Jan. '90 for Clemson, after a Cotton Bowl loss to TN/and a meeting with Broyles afterward, in which he was told he would have to "let go some assistants.." by Broyles, so "sight unseen" he abruptly leaves..Jack Crowe? fired by Broyles in '92 after a loss to the Citadel, now he's at Jacsonville State...Danny Ford? fired at end of '97 season, after back to back losing seasons.
Houston Nutt? agreed to resign, for a $3mm buyout of his remaining contract, and Sexton gets him the Ole Miss gig.

So,who has left AR for the "better job" since 1958? The answer, no one..

On Fayetteville, I admit,I have been gone from there since '91 (have attended a few games since then), so I can see where the huge growth/development that the Walmart/Tyson's have brought to the area in the last 15-20years, may have "dilluted" some of the small town Southern charm, as well as brought in alot of "transplants" as well...but look at Atlanta, it's lost alot of it's "Southern" feel as well, due to it's economic boom; heck, New Orleans for that matter, has tons of "transplants" from the North,etc..so some of that "feel" gets dilluted by progress/development, but there's still "just enough" of it's traditional roots. I am sure Fayetteville still has plenty of it's roots and comfort zone to keep it's original identity hanging around..

We are not a stepping-stone program. Never have been.

The only time a coach stepped on us was Eddie Sutton when he went to Kentucky, and he opened the door for Nolan Richardson. I'd say that worked out pretty ok.

And he left the NFL to come to Arkansas. He wasn't unemployed.

Yep, he did leave on his own, after just one year!
